Our Process

Our process

1. Receiving an estimate

Simply email a hand drawing or detailed plan of your project for a preliminary quote. Please remember to include your name, address and phone number. The final price will be provided after we measure your project and have resolved any outstanding issues. We go through the following steps when quoting a project:
  • On-site measurement and templating
  • Colour (standard colour group)
  • Edge profile
  • 4″ backsplash
  • Polished undermount sink hole
  • Fabrication and installation

2. Measurement process

A template is an exact, full-size pattern of your kitchen or bath counters, clearly showing seams, cutouts, edges, backsplashes, radii, faucet holes, etc. All estimates include the cost of an on-site measurement. Final costs are determined by the approved templates or measurements. Please note that templating/measuring takes place once cabinets or framing materials are fully installed, levelled, and permanently in place. Someone of authority (homeowner, designer, or contractor) must review and sign all templates before cutting will begin. All deposits are non-refundable once fabrication begins.

3. Selecting the color and pattern

We will provide samples during our on-site measurement for you to match with paint chips, fabric swatches, flooring, and most importantly, cabinets to assist you in choosing your colour and pattern.

4. Fabrication process

Fabrication can begin once all templates have been approved and the material color has been selected. We provide a 3-day turnaround from the time of templating to final installation as long as there are no unforeseen complications.

5. Installation process

The majority of home installation jobs range several hours to a full business day. While any project involves some dust, granite worktop installation is fairly painless because most of the cutting and polishing is done in our facility, not in your home. Your inspection of the finished job is very important. The lead installer will review the installation with you, answer any questions you may have, and collect payment of the final balance due. All work we perform is custom from start to finish and we strive to ensure your complete satisfaction.
Day of Installation Checklist:
  • Create a clear path through the home for easy access to the installation area
  • Cover floors along this path
  • Remove all items from cabinets
  • Move all breakables, such as lamps, vases, mirrors, wall hangings, antiques or other valuables from areas
